The Husqvarna EE 5 is a modern, fully-fledged motocross machine that is powered by a 48 V – BLDC motor with outer rotor, delivering a peak power of 5 kW. This electric minibike is capable of producing 2.7 HP (2.0 kW) at 3200 RPM and 13.8 Nm (1.4 kgf-m or 10.2 ft.lbs) of torque. The EE 5 features an automatic air-cooled system and a chain final drive, with a 1/2 x 3/16´ chain. The bike is built on a chrome-molybdenum steel central-tube frame and is equipped with WP-USD, AER 35, Ø 35 mm front suspension and XACT WP mono shock rear suspension, providing 205 mm (8.1 inches) and 185 mm (7.3 inches) of travel, respectively. The EE 5 is fitted with single disc brakes on both the front and rear, with a diameter of 160 mm (6.3 inches). The bike rides on aluminium rims and Maxxis tyres. The seat height is 665 mm (26.2 inches) and the ground clearance is 252 mm (9.9 inches). The EE 5 is available in a white/blue/yellow color scheme and features a digital display. The bike is powered by a 21 Ah 48V lithium-ion battery, which takes 70 minutes to charge and offers 6 different ride modes. The pioneering EE 5 is the culmination of Husqvarna Motorcycles´ rich motocross history and the latest e-technology, making it more than capable of rivalling its 50cc fuel-powered competition.
